Nvidia Expands Physical AI Stack Across Robotics, Humanoids and Factory Automation
aiinsider ·
Nvidia has significantly expanded its Isaac robotics platform to accelerate the transition of robot development from simulation to real-world deployment. The update introduces key components such as Isaac Lab 3.0, the open-source Isaac OS runtime, and new safety technologies like Halos built on IGX Thor. To support training, Nvidia released the SimReady Central Library with over 2,000 assets and the Human 1M Dataset for synchronized video and hand tracking. These tools are designed to streamline workflows for dexterous manipulation and world-model training using DGX Station systems. The company showcased these advancements alongside Agile Robots' new Agile ONE SN humanoid, which utilizes Jetson Thor hardware. Major industrial partners including ABB Robotics, KUKA, and Toyota Material Handling Europe are already integrating these solutions to reduce deployment times and enhance factory automation. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang emphasized that general-purpose robotics is approaching a pivotal moment similar to the rise of generative AI.
