NVIDIA Launches DSX Ready to Qualify Power and Cooling Products for AI Factories
nvidia ·
NVIDIA has introduced the DSX Ready qualification program to help AI factory builders identify power and cooling products that meet specific infrastructure requirements. This initiative aims to streamline the selection process for components like battery energy storage systems (BESS) and cooling distribution units (CDUs), ensuring they align with NVIDIA's DSX reference designs. By providing a standardized evaluation framework, the program reduces integration risks and helps optimize the entire factory system within grid and resource constraints. Initial qualified partners include Hitachi Energy, LG Energy Solution, and Tesla for BESS, as well as LG Electronics, LiquidStack, and Vertiv for CDUs. The qualification process involves rigorous testing and data submission for review, though it does not replace site-level engineering assessments. This approach allows builders to confidently integrate partner innovations into their AI factory architectures. Additional infrastructure and software categories are expected to be added to the program in the future.
