wired ·
At IFA 2026, Nvidia and its partners revealed the first laptops and mini PCs powered by the RTX Spark 'superchip,' designed to run AI models locally. The showcased Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-in-1 is a premium 16-inch OLED laptop whose thin design is enabled by Nvidia's Arm-based system-on-a-chip, combining a 20-core Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU featuring up to 6,144 cores. A 15-inch Yoga Pro 9n offers up to 128GB of memory, while the 9n maxes out at 64GB. Additional RTX Spark laptops from Dell, Asus, Microsoft, and HP are expected this fall. Acer and Asus also announced mini PCs roughly the size of a Mac Mini, offering up to 128GB of memory and a petaflop of AI performance. Lenovo's AMD-powered ThinkCentre X Ultra mini PC starts at $3,699, reflecting the high cost of these systems. No pricing was given for RTX Spark devices, but expensive RAM suggests they will not be cheap.
