Omnichat, an AI-native marketing and customer experience platform, has secured a US$10 million Series A funding round led by Openspace Capital. The investment includes participation from Darwin Ventures and Acorn Pacific Ventures to support the scaling of its agentic AI platform and accelerate global expansion beyond the Asia Pacific region. The company utilizes Omni AI Agents to handle marketing, sales, and customer service tasks within popular chat applications like WhatsApp, LINE, and WeChat. These agents unify interactions on a single customer profile and attribute revenue directly to conversations, including in-store purchases. Founder and CEO Alan Chan stated that the funding marks a strategic shift from conversational commerce to AI-driven commerce, aiming to help businesses grow revenue without increasing headcount. Omnichat reports having assisted 5,000 clients, such as Dyson and FILA, in generating over US$100 million in revenue. Additionally, its AI business analyst tool, OmniClaw, was adopted by approximately 300 brands within two months of its launch in June.
