Petlibro’s new AI-powered feeder is a game changer for multi-cat homes
techcrunch ·
Petlibro’s Granary 2 lineup of automatic dry-food feeders is designed to give pet owners more insight into their cats’ eating habits. The four models cost between $129.99 and $249.99, with the tested $189.99 Granary 2 Vision able to recognize up to 10 cats and associate meals with individual profiles. A built-in scale measures both dispensed and uneaten food, while the companion app tracks intake, eating duration, feeding frequency, preferred eating times and eating speed. The feeders support gradual Smart Refill Mode and traditional Scheduled Mode, while the Vision model adds a 1080p night-vision camera, two-way audio and access control based on pet recognition. App alerts, a rechargeable backup battery and remote monitoring provide additional reassurance, although some health and video features require paid subscriptions. The reviewer considers the Granary 2 one of the best feeders tested, while noting that Pawsync offers a cheaper $79.99 alternative.
