Pigment, an AI-driven business planning and performance management platform, has successfully closed a $250 million Series E funding round at a $2.3 billion valuation. The investment was led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, with additional participation from WIL, existing backers such as Greenoaks and ICONIQ, and a planned contribution from NVIDIA. This capital raise follows a significant milestone for the company, which recently surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue, marking a year-over-year doubling of its financial performance. Pigment’s adoption of artificial intelligence is accelerating rapidly, with AI agents now responsible for creating 85% of new metrics on the platform. Major enterprise clients include Danone, Siemens, Unilever, Anthropic, Uber, and L’Oréal, the latter of whom is deploying the solution for salary planning across more than 95,000 employees globally. Co-founders Eléonore Crespo and Romain Niccoli stated that the funds will accelerate research and development, particularly regarding their patent-pending compute engine, Graphite. The company aims to extend its AI agents to run planning workflows end-to-end, moving toward fully autonomous enterprise planning capabilities.
