Pinterest teases a new ‘Restyle’ feature that lets you redesign your room with AI
techcrunch ·
Pinterest says it is launching Restyle, a consumer-facing AI feature in beta in the United States and Canada, powered by Pinterest Intelligence. Users can photograph a room and ask the tool to add or change wall art, furniture, accessories, lighting, paint colors, plants, and other decor, including products found in Pinterest images. They can also select individual objects to replace or erase them, make other edits, or visualize the room in styles such as bohemian, industrial, whimsical, or dopamine. Pinterest Intelligence combines Nvidia Blackwell GPUs and Nvidia Dynamo with open-source models and technology developed by Pinterest, with the partnership also intended to improve visual search, discovery, shopping, and the Pinterest Assistant. The feature was announced at Pinterest’s annual Pinterest Presents event alongside new tools for advertisers, including visual search ads and app-promotion features. Restyle is currently an early preview and is expected to roll out more broadly next month.
