Pluto Security Emerges From Stealth With $42M to Secure Enterprise AI Agents
aiinsider ·
Pluto Security has officially emerged from stealth mode with a total of $42 million in funding to address security risks associated with enterprise AI agents. The capital includes an $8.5 million seed round led by TLV Partners and a $34 million Series A led by Jump Capital, with participation from Armis founders and Skinos. CEO Shahar Bahat highlights that new AI tools can infiltrate company environments rapidly, noting that approximately 60% of detected risks originate from non-developers using vibe-coded solutions. The startup's software monitors employee AI usage, assessing agent intentions through lightweight endpoint models to intervene in real-time if malicious actions are detected. Since beginning sales in April, Pluto Security has achieved over $2 million in annual recurring revenue with more than 30 enterprise clients, including Oscar Health and Sixt. Every proof of concept conducted by the company has uncovered malicious components within the tested AI environments. The newly raised funds will be allocated toward product development, security research, and expanding operations in the United States.
