Preview web apps live as your coding agent builds them with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore runtime

Amazon Bedrock AgentCore introduces Session Endpoints, a new capability that allows developers to preview web applications in real-time as coding agents build them. This feature runs each agent session within an isolated microVM and provides an authenticated URL to access specific ports directly from a local browser. By forwarding HTTP requests and WebSocket connections, it enables instant visual feedback without the need for manual deployment steps. The article demonstrates this workflow using a Vite-based website where changes appear immediately after the agent saves files. Security is maintained through SigV4 signatures or JWT authorizers, ensuring that only allowed ports are accessible and every request is verified. Developers can interact with the live app, request modifications like theme changes, and observe the results streaming back via server-sent events. The solution also supports accessing multiple ports within the same session, such as status endpoints, while refusing unauthorized access attempts. This integration significantly accelerates the development loop by bridging the gap between agent execution and user review.
