Amazon has launched Amazon Connect Talent, an AI-powered hiring solution for organizations recruiting at scale. It lets recruiters configure role-specific evaluation criteria, assessments, and interview questions, while AI agents conduct interviews and assessments at any time and process large candidate volumes. The service provides scored candidate summaries, competency breakdowns, transcripts, comparative analytics, and evidence-based reasoning, while recruiters retain final hiring authority. It is designed to apply consistent, job-related evaluation and anonymize candidate data during AI evaluation, with transparency about data use and scoring rubrics. AWS says security features include access controls, audit trails, monitoring, and fraud-protection signals that require human review and do not automatically disqualify candidates. Amazon Connect Talent is intended to reduce hiring delays and give candidates a more flexible experience while helping organizations make faster, data-informed decisions.
