Reliable Robotics has secured an additional $115 million in funding, bringing its total Series D investment to $275 million and pushing the company's valuation above $1 billion. The financing was led by Nimble Partners, with participation from new investors such as Gideon Capital and RockCreek, alongside a $25 million term loan from Silicon Valley Bank. This capital will support the expansion of the company’s aircraft fleet, production facilities, and engineering team, which now exceeds 250 employees. Based in Mountain View, California, Reliable is developing the Reliable Autonomy System (RAS) for fully automated gate-to-gate flight operations. The company is currently seeking FAA certification for RAS on the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, aiming to automate taxiing, takeoff, en-route management, and landing. Recently, Reliable completed autonomous taxi, takeoff, and landing tests at Albuquerque International Sunport under an FAA pilot program. These flights were supervised by a remote pilot located over 700 miles away in California and an onboard safety pilot. In addition to commercial goals, the company holds contracts with multiple branches of the U.S. military and has expanded its operational footprint with new offices in Seattle and San Diego.
