Remix has launched a new desktop application for Windows, Mac, and Linux, expanding its AI-powered game creation platform beyond mobile and web. The service allows users to build complete games from text descriptions without any coding experience, serving approximately 1.5 million players and creators. Alongside this release, Remix initiated 'The Missing Bitcoin,' a skill-based scavenger hunt with a grand prize of one Bitcoin or its cash equivalent. Participants navigate through various portals and challenges across the website and native iOS and Android apps to earn coins. The hunt features diverse gameplay elements such as puzzles, platforming, and combat, with new stages opening periodically until the final challenge on November 12. Creators retain ownership of their work and can export code, while the platform offers free access for playing and sharing games. Subscription plans for AI-assisted creation start at $5 per month or can be covered by existing subscriptions from major AI providers.
