Stellantis Pro One and UQI Robotics are collaborating to develop an autonomous electric delivery vehicle designed for last-mile logistics. The project, titled "Box-on-Wheels," combines Stellantis’ commercial vehicle expertise with UQI’s autonomous driving and artificial intelligence technologies. This proof of concept aims to integrate electrification, connectivity, and fleet services into a comprehensive logistics platform for professional customers. The companies plan to debut the initiative at the IAA Transportation 2026 event in Hanover, Germany, on September 14. Initial validation efforts will concentrate on Europe to assess operating performance, customer value, and scalability potential. UQI Robotics, a joint venture between Ubtech and Miracle Automation, brings extensive experience with over 7,000 robots deployed globally. While technical specifications and production timelines remain undisclosed, the partnership seeks to adapt autonomous urban commercial vehicles for international markets beyond China.
