Vecna Robotics Raises $31M in Funding to Expand Warehouse Automation
aiinsider ·
Vecna Robotics has secured $31 million in new funding to expand its autonomous mobile robot business and enhance warehouse automation capabilities. The investment round was led by Unless, with participation from existing investors including Drive Capital, Tiger Global, Highland Capital Partners, and Tectonic Ventures. The Massachusetts-based company plans to use the capital to scale deployment teams and develop new features for pallet stacking, de-stacking, and trailer loading. These additions aim to extend autonomous movement into storage and dock operations while reducing manual forklift travel and congestion. Demand for Vecna’s CaseFlow system has more than doubled year-over-year since its 2025 launch, reflecting strong customer adoption. A recent deployment at GEODIS demonstrated that the system doubled picking throughput and significantly reduced training time for new workers. CEO Karl Lagnemma emphasized that customers seek flexible solutions to improve material flow broadly across their operations rather than automating isolated tasks. This latest funding supports Vecna’s goal of accelerating capabilities within its trusted U.S.-based robotics platform.
