Wandercraft has acquired Ekso Bionics from a ChronoScale Holdings subsidiary to expand its medical exoskeleton business and strengthen its presence in the United States. This transaction combines Wandercraft’s robotics expertise and European footprint with Ekso Bionics’ U.S. operations, clinical experience, and commercial network. The merged portfolio includes key products such as Atalante X, EksoNR, Eve, and Indego Personal, which are utilized in over 700 rehabilitation centers globally. These devices hold FDA clearances and CE marking for treating conditions like stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and brain injury. Wandercraft aims to broaden access to robotic mobility worldwide by leveraging this combined resource base. The acquisition also enhances support for U.S. patients navigating Medicare coverage and reimbursement processes under specific HCPCS codes. Both companies' boards unanimously approved the deal, which closed immediately upon signing. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
