YGO Announces €8M Series A to Build AI Infrastructure Layer for Travel Industry
aiinsider ·
YGO has successfully closed an €8 million Series A funding round to develop an artificial intelligence infrastructure layer specifically for the travel industry. The investment was led by Ventech, with additional participation from Sake Bosch, Caesar Capital, and various business angels. This capital will be utilized to expand sales efforts, enhance the AI platform's capabilities, and grow beyond its current DACH region base. YGO provides a neutral orchestration solution that allows travel suppliers to make their inventory compatible with AI systems without overhauling existing infrastructure. By structuring fragmented data, the platform facilitates semantic search, personalized recommendations, and automated booking across both direct channels and external AI agents. Co-founder and CEO Julian Kögel highlighted that the travel sector currently relies on outdated infrastructure not designed for an AI-first environment. The company reports processing bookings for major clients such as Condor, Bentour, and GetAway Group, while achieving seven-figure annual recurring revenue within just six months.
