Zenzap has secured $44 million in funding to expand its AI-powered workplace messaging platform designed for frontline teams. The investment comes from prominent investors including Bessemer, Lightspeed, and The Garage, alongside individual backers Nir Zohar and Yoram Tietz. Founder Guy Weiss established the company in 2022 after previously bootstrapping and selling his earlier venture, StuccoMedia. The platform aims to bridge the gap between consumer apps like WhatsApp and enterprise tools like Slack by offering a mobile-first solution that complies with IT requirements. Zenzap currently serves major clients across hospitality, construction, healthcare, and fast food sectors, such as Starbucks, FedEx, and Taco Bell. Its service includes free access to chat and task management, while paid plans start at $51 per month for up to 20 users. The 50-person company plans to use the new capital to hire additional staff in product and research development.
