Zeroth Launches Bridge Humanoid Robot and Open-Source OpenBridge Developer Platform
aiinsider ·
Zeroth, a Suzhou, China-based robotics company, has launched Bridge, a compact humanoid robot for physical AI development, alongside OpenBridge, an open-source software ecosystem. Bridge is 88 centimeters tall, weighs about 13 kilograms, and features bipedal walking, intelligent obstacle avoidance, SDK access, and open motion-control APIs, with support for motion-capture and VR integration. The company describes Bridge as built around an AI-native architecture designed for AI-based physical interaction rather than preset movements. OpenBridge is an open-source platform that includes common development tools, training resources, and a public Skill Hub where developers can create and share robot capabilities. Zeroth also introduced the Bridge Builder Program, which will shortlist 500 developers; the top 200 will receive complimentary Bridge access, while the other 300 get priority purchase access to the Bridge Geek Edition and SDK access. The program aims to involve external developers in shaping the platform's capabilities. Bridge is available for global booking starting September 2, with regional pricing, and applications for the Builder Program are open.
